FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
JULY 18, 2025
ROCKWALL, TEXAS — Bible Operator, Inc., a national military and veteran men’s ministry, proudly announces the awarding of the Operator’s Medal of Faith to Commander Wesley N. Carey, a 13-year Army Special Forces combat veteran, for extraordinary heroism and spiritual valor above and beyond the call of duty during a life-and-death crisis on July 11, 2025.
While operating remotely from Pensacola, Florida, Commander Carey was activated by Bible Operator Headquarters after an emergency call was received from a distressed Army veteran in Panama City, Florida. The caller, in severe emotional and spiritual crisis, had expressed intent to take his own life.
Without hesitation, Commander Carey stepped into the crisis. Over the course of more than two hours, he engaged the veteran in direct spiritual and emotional intervention—applying tactical presence, empathy, and Spirit-led counsel honed by his years of combat and ministry leadership. At approximately 2:50 PM CST, the veteran renounced suicide and made a life-changing profession of faith in Jesus Christ, stating through tears, “These are happy tears!”
Commander Carey’s actions resulted in the physical preservation and eternal salvation of a fellow warrior. His actions embody the highest traditions of Christian brotherhood, spiritual leadership, and faith under fire.
The Medal of Faith, Bible Operator’s highest award, is reserved for acts demonstrating undeniable courage and unwavering commitment to spiritual warfare. The medal bears the motto SPIRITUS LIBERARE — To Set the Spirit Free.
“This was more than a rescue mission,” said Christopher A. Dennis, Founder and Executive Director of Bible Operator. “It was a spiritual operation that changed the eternal trajectory of a warrior’s soul. Wes led the charge, and God did the saving.”
The citation has been formally endorsed by The Honorable Allen B. Clark, a decorated U.S. Army veteran and Silver Star recipient, and is pending official recognition from the Governors of Texas and Florida.
Commander Carey becomes the first recipient (pending award ceremony) of the Operator’s Medal of Faith.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
March 17, 2025
ROYSE CITY, TEXAS – Bible Operator, Inc. is proud to announce that as of March 17, 2025, we are officially recognized as a nonprofit corporation under the laws of the State of Texas. This milestone is the result of two years of unwavering dedication, dating back to March 7, 2023, when Bible Operator first launched its website and initiatives to serve Christian military service members and veterans through faith-based training, mentorship, and community-building.
Bible Operator, Inc. was founded by Christopher Dennis, a 10-year U.S. Army Veteran whose journey to this moment has been nothing short of miraculous. Three years after the tragic death of his son, Christopher left the military, broken and without direction. He became a homeless veteran, suicidal, and without hope, yet through every step forward in faith, God provided a way. With no money, no connections, and driving a car marked for repossession, he made his way to Texas. He slept in his car for one night before God began opening doors. Now, twelve years later, he is a husband of ten years, a father to a nine-year-old son, and the leader of a mission that is far bigger than himself.
“I should have died in war hundreds of times. I should have been destroyed by my past. I grew up in a hoarder shack that later burned down with my grandparents inside. My grandfather served in World War II, and I spent nine years in foster care, bouncing from home to home. For years, I never understood why God kept sparing my life. Who am I? I’m nobody. But even when I wasn’t cooperating, even when I didn’t know Him, He had a plan. And now, after ten years of searching for my purpose, I know this ministry is that purpose.”
Bible Operator, Inc. exists to equip warriors of faith with practical biblical leadership, discipleship, and spiritual warfare training. The organization serves those whom the Bible calls "Fighting Men" in scripture—Men of valor, military warriors who are loyal to both God and country, and each other.
"No veteran should do life alone," says Christopher. "The Church owes it to these warriors to do more than offer a handclap twice a year on Memorial Day and Veterans Day. These men need real community, purpose, direction, and motivation. They need leadership. That is why we are here."
Bible Operator is led by a team of battle-tested warriors and advisors who know firsthand the struggles military men face when transitioning from war to faith. The leadership team includes:
The organization operates through four distinct branches to maximize its impact:
While Bible Operator, Inc. is now legally incorporated as a nonprofit, the next step is securing 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. This process is expected to be completed within 4–6 weeks, at which time the organization will be eligible to receive tax-deductible donations and expand its outreach efforts nationwide.
“This is more than a milestone. This is the next step in the mission God has been shaping for years,” said Christopher. "We are here to serve, to build up, and to fight for those who have spent their lives fighting for us. This is only the beginning."
Whether you are a veteran, an active-duty service member, a military supporter, a church, organization, business, or a believer who wants to see warriors restored in Christ, you can be part of this mission. Bible Operator is looking for partners, supporters, leaders, and prayers to help bring this vision to life.
